Biosecurity New Zealand
Biosecurity New Zealand (BNZ) leads New Zealand's biosecurity efforts. Since its inception in November 2004, it has been designated a “whole of system” leadership role. Biosecurity New Zealand has the lead role in preventing unwanted pests and diseases from reaching New Zealand, and for controlling, managing or eradicating them should they arrive.
