Introduction
Immigration New Zealand has a guide to help you decide the right policy for workers you may need to support through the immigration process.
A skilled workforce is essential to New Zealand’s economic growth and, with the current low level of unemployment, we need more people in our workforce. The Department of Labour is actively promoting our country as a great place to live and work for both migrants and expat kiwis.
The New Zealand Residence Programme, a Department of Labour initiative, aims to match people coming to New Zealand with the skills employers require.
